Matthew is a highly experienced GST lawyer with nearly 20 years of tax experience. Prior to joining Nuwaru, Matthew was a tax partner at a top tier law firm and prior to that held a senior tax advisor role at a Big 4 accounting firm.
His clients include a diverse range of businesses and organizations, from large multinational corporations and ASX-listed companies to small and medium-sized enterprises and high-net-worth individuals. He also advises family groups, private equity funds, and other entities on their GST obligations.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the La Trobe University and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. He is also a member of the Tax Institute of Australia and the Law Institute of Victoria.
