David is a Senior Manager with Nuwaru and has gained his tax experience in Big 4 practice and as an in-house tax specialist in Australia and overseas dealing with direct and indirect taxes.
Most recently, David was the Tax Manager at Bluestone, a large non-bank lender. Prior to that David was with KPMG’s specialist tax compliance function which provided tax compliance and data analytics to clients where he worked with non-financial services clients across a range of industries. During his career he also worked in the IT, property and banking sectors.
With his recent in-house experience, David gained expertise in tax function management and compliance, tax governance, as well as technical skills and experience in reviewing new products and large and unusual transactions for their tax impact, setting up securitisation trusts, tax consolidation, transfer pricing, and international tax issues.
